Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how FuturaPath handles information when you use our website, app, blog, account tools, reminders, and related services. We aim to be clear and respectful because FuturaPath may hold personal productivity content such as goals, reflections, schedules, reminders, and personal growth notes.
Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as your name, email address, and password authentication data. We also store the user content you choose to add, including goals, micro-goals, supporting tasks, schedules, reflections, notes, reminders, and related progress data.
If subscriptions are available, we may process subscription status, plan information, and billing metadata. Payment card details are handled by payment processors rather than stored directly by FuturaPath.
For notifications, we may collect notification preferences, reminder settings, and device tokens for mobile push notifications. We may also collect product usage events such as signup, login, micro-goal creation or completion, reflection submission, schedule creation, and similar product activity.
Technical data may include IP address, browser or device information, log data, cookies or session identifiers, timestamps, and error logs.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and manage accounts, provide the FuturaPath experience, save your goals, micro-goals, reflections, schedules, and reminders, and send account emails such as verification and password reset messages.
We also use information to send optional reminders or notifications based on your preferences, manage subscriptions and access levels, improve product usability and reliability, detect abuse, spam, bot signups, fraud, and security issues, and provide support or troubleshoot problems.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell users' personal goals, reflections, schedules, or account data to advertisers.
- We do not make users' private goals or reflections public.
- FuturaPath is not medical diagnosis, therapy, emergency, or crisis support.
User Content and Privacy
Your goals, reflections, schedules, micro-goals, and related notes are personal user content. Please avoid storing highly sensitive information unless you are comfortable doing so in a productivity service.
FuturaPath staff or admins should access user data only when needed for support, security, debugging, compliance, or service operation.
Your Content Belongs to You
Your goals, micro-goals, reflections, schedules, notes, and related personal content remain yours. FuturaPath does not claim ownership of the personal content you create inside the service.
We store and process your content only to provide the FuturaPath experience, including saving your progress, showing your goal map, supporting reminders, enabling reflection, and improving the reliability and usability of the product.
Email and Notifications
FuturaPath may send verification emails, password reset emails, account or security emails, optional reminder emails, and optional mobile push notifications. You can manage notification preferences where those settings are available. Some account or security messages may still be sent when needed to operate or protect your account.
Reminder Preferences and Notifications
FuturaPath may send reminders based on information you create within the service, including goals, micro-goals, schedules, supporting tasks, reflections, due dates, and activity history.
Reminder delivery may occur through in-app notifications, email, browser notifications, and future mobile push notifications.
Notification permissions are controlled by your browser, device, and FuturaPath account settings. You may enable or disable reminder types and notification channels through account settings.
Users may review and update reminder, notification, and marketing communication preferences through account settings at any time. Most communication preferences can be managed without contacting support.
Users may also review and update profile details, timezone, email address change requests, and other account preferences through account settings. Most normal account preference changes do not require contacting support.
Marketing Communications
FuturaPath may occasionally offer newsletters, blog updates, educational content, product announcements, or promotional communications.
These communications are optional and may be sent only where consent has been provided or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Users may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Browser Notifications
Browser notifications require permission from your browser or operating system.
If permission is granted, FuturaPath may deliver reminders and notifications through browser notification services.
You can disable browser notifications in FuturaPath settings or through your browser or operating system settings.
Cookies and Sessions
We may use cookies and similar session technologies to keep you signed in, protect accounts, remember preferences, prevent abuse, and understand product usage.
Third-Party Services
FuturaPath may use trusted providers for hosting and server infrastructure, database or storage services, transactional email such as Postmark, payment processing such as Stripe, analytics or error monitoring if used later, and mobile push notification delivery if used later. These providers process information as needed to help operate the service.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect user information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so users should also protect their account credentials and choose carefully what they store.
Data Retention
We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, maintain backups, or support service operations. If account deletion is not self-serve, you may contact us to request deletion.
If you request account deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal account content, unless we need to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, backup, or legitimate service operation reasons.
Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted through normal backup cycles.
User Choices and Rights
You may request access to personal information associated with your account, ask us to correct inaccurate account information, manage notification preferences where available, or request deletion of your account and associated content by contacting support@futurapath.com.
Some requests may require identity verification or may be limited where we need to retain information for security, legal, fraud prevention, billing, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Children
FuturaPath is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Users
Your information may be processed in countries where FuturaPath or its providers operate. Those countries may have data protection rules that differ from where you live.

We may update this Privacy Policy as FuturaPath changes. When we do, we will update the Last updated date on this page.
